1. Central Portion of the East Pacific:
A weak and elongated area of low pressure located about 500 miles
southwest of the coast of southwestern Mexico continues to produce
disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Development, if any,
of this system should be slow to occur over the next day or two
while it moves slowly eastward or east-northeastward.
